People used to think the mind and body were separate and that emotions were a product of the brain only. However, science has shown that other parts of the body can hold or generate emotional charges as well. If you’re in a weakened state due to factors such as stress, illness, toxicity or physical trauma, everyday emotional responses may not fully resolve, as they naturally should.
Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) is based on the concept that unresolved emotional trauma is stored in the body. Emotions such as excessive, unresolved anger, grief and fear may long affect us even after we have forgotten the event that caused them. Since our emotional reality dramatically affects our health, using NET to identify these negatively charged emotions (Neuro-Emotional Complexes) and releasing them can normalize abnormal physical and behavioral patterns.
NET is safe and effective, and is a natural way to resolve long-standing health problems by resolving the emotional components that accompany the physical symptoms. NET practitioners can find unresolved, negatively charged emotional responses that are stored in your body and help you release them. NET practitioners are nearly unlimited in their ability to address physical and behavioral stress-related conditions.

In conventional chiropractic, we search for regions of the spine where the vertebrae are stuck and not moving properly. This is known as a subluxation. The nerves that exit that area of the spine are interfered with when a vertebra is subluxated. As a result, the organs, systems, and muscles that those nerves supply will not operate as they should, leading to some form of health issue. By gently adjusting the vertebra (see Impulse IQ Adjusting), it restores normal nerve function, enabling the body to heal. That’s straight chiropractic.
What we do is Applied Kinesiology. Which is a blend of traditional chiropractic, meridian therapy, cranial osteopathy and nutrition. The muscle test is the primary tool we use to determine what has to be done. This is significant because only 31 pairs of nerves exit the spine, and those 31 pairs of nerves control every single organ, muscle, and cell in the body. Therefore we have organ to muscle correlations in our nervous system. We can obtain a reasonably good picture of how the systems in the body are functioning by testing particular muscles and understand the causes of structural issues. For instance, the latissimus muscle stabilizes the shoulder. However, if that muscle is weak, the shoulder will rise up, which causes the muscles in the neck to become overly tense and cause neck pain. It’s simple enough for us to adjust the patient, but if we don’t strengthen the weak latissimus muscle—which shares a nerve supply with the pancreas—the shoulder will continue to hike up, aggravating the neck pain. Therefore, to treat the neck discomfort in this specific instance, it may be necessary to restore healthy pancreatic function with whole food supplements and dietary advice rather than just continually adjusting that person. Every condition has an underlying cause, which we seek to identify and treat.
